Survivor Series type game?

    I did actually have an idea for a Survivor Series-style game a couple of months back while I was doing the Draft game which I had been meaning to bring up. I actually thought it could be a good way to revive my interest in wrestling but I never followed up on it.

    The idea was basically for a game that would be a bit like a Last Man Standing competition. We would each choose about 20 or so wrestlers from Raw, Smackdown or ECW. We would then over the weekend select 10 of these wrestlers who would be active for the next week of wrestling. If one of the 10 wrestlers you selected lost a match (even if it was by a DQ) then that wrestler would be eliminated from your roster for the rest of the game. If all your wrestlers were eliminated you would be out of the game.

    For example, say your chosen wrestlers were...Christian, Batista, Rey, HHH, Orton, Cena, Jericho, Kane, Undertaker, Morrisson, Miz, Finlay and so on...

    You would choose 10 of the above to be active for the next week of shows and would also arrange substitutes (a bit like in Fantasy Football games) so that if one wrestler didn't feature the sub could take his place.

    I was also thinking we could choose a captain (again like the Fantasy Football) and if that wrestler won his/her bout then you could then buy back a team member that was defeated.

    We would keep going until we had someone in the game with active wrestlers left.

    I thought it would be a fun idea because you would have to think about which wrestlers you would use and which ones you'd leave out and it would make watching the matches a bit more interesting because if one of your guys lost you would be down a member.

    It's a bit of an ambitious game and I'm not sure if it would work out. Let me know what you make of the idea anyway.

    Sounds like a good idea MNG, but it'd be quite a bit or hard work for whomever was running it.

    Yeah it would really have to be run by someone actually following the product, ie not me. It's maybe too impractical.
