What to wear for Grad?

    Hi girls,

I'm graduating next week and I have no idea what to wear under my gown.

I can't ask anyone, because I don't know anyone else in my course. (long story short, have no college friends at all, so it's not going to be a happy day for me, but all about that will probably go into a long boring thread in PI)

Would it be fairly formal? Would a nice skirt and top do? There's no grad ball, and I won't be going out afterwards.

    Any advice?

Mods if this is in the wrong forum, apologises.

It's not going to be 'fairly normal' in the sense that people will be dressed up in dresses, heels etc. But that doesn't mean that there won't be people there wearing jeans and jumpers etc. Wear whatever you feel good in but do be aware it can be quite a dressy event.

I just graduated and alot of girls wore knee length dresses or skirts, some with tights some without, but the general theme was quiet fancy. A nice skirt and top sounds ideal.
