    Lastgasp's herculean efforts have inspired me and having been out of the country on the 14th I was wondering when the next "Lumpy" or similar is being held.

    The bad news is it's 23rd JANUARY ! I'm hoping to do the "Official" one myself then too, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle the temperature. My circulation's not too good at the best of times ! I'll have to splash out on more thermals, good gloves, warm waterproof overshoes, and one of those fleecy hats that fits under your helmet.

    Sounds like your made of the stuff though so I'll see you there. I'll be travelling from Tipp. Can't wait! By the way I don't know if waterproof overshoes are necessary as the neoprene ones will keep your feet warm as they act just like a wetsuit and are that little bit cheaper.

    If you want to stay up to date on upcoming audax stuff, I'd suggest signing up to the mailing list. Usually I'll relay the information here but the mailing list should be the definitive source.

    If you're living in Tipperary, there'll be a few events closer to you in 2010 - there's a 200 (March 27th) and a 300 (September 4th) starting in Midleton, a 300 (August 14th) in Clonmel, and a 200 (May 22nd) in Kilkenny.

    Thanks RH. Just got a job today ending six months of unemployment so I'll be working in Dublin by January :D. Regardless I would have headed up for this anyway as I'd like to do the next PBP and I've really got the bug.
