Hi there. I saw a good deal for a Carribean Cruise with Royal Carribean, all inclusive. The ports of call are St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico and Haiti. Has anyone done this before, and if so, what was your experience. do you get to stop for long at the destinations, do you get a feel for each country? What were the other people on the cruise like- a mixture or mostly slightly older people?
I am 30 and boyf is 26, both would be more independent travelers types and I have never been on a package holiday in my life so this is quite a departure for me- I'd love to hear your experiences?? Many thanks

Your will fit right in age wise. RCI don't attract the older crowd that some lines do.

We are in our 30s used to go on adventure type holidays and would never have thought of going on a package hol or cruise - until last year when i got a cruise holiday as a bonus from work.

It was fantastic. Surprisingly we both loved it. It was 7 days in the Caribbean and included a couple of the destinations you mention. We were not bored for one minute. There was a hurricane but they just went to a different port instead. 100% sunshine all the time. And about 30C any time of year.

Loved it so much we are headed off to New York this evening for a few days and then off on another Caribbean cruise. This time for a couple of weeks. We'll probably go back to the adventure hols eventually but im really getting to like this cruise thing too :D
