Looking to fit a freeview satellite system. Ive a sky box lying around the house. Is it best to use this without a card to pick up bbc, sky news etc or will I get many extra chanels by using a free to air box as advertised on satellite.ie such as ferguson fk1000?
Is there a freeview card I can get for my existing sky box for a once off payment?

cheapest solution is to use your old sky box FTA and then get a FTV Card for the FTV Channels for a £20 'one off payment'. (only available to a UK address)
    The Skyman

sky box on its own without any card will do the job fine,

only 'extra channels ' you get with a uk ftv is fiveusa sky3 and another five channel (cant remember off top of my head)
    not worth getting IMO.
