Why do people keep recommending amazon, when they do not deliver TV's to Ireland????
Because they don't just sell tvs?

Speaking of amazon, this excellent search tool was posted in bargain alerts.

Don't just look at the links, go down a bit further and you can customise your department & discount range

I'm considering buying an Archos 5 off it, as it's cheaper than anywhere else I've looked. Haven't heard too much about Pixmania though, so I'm a little weary?

Anyone bought off it before? Any feedback?
I have used pixmania to buy lcd screens. No problems to report

As has been repeated in this thread many times... of course there are no problems when you buy goods that arrive complete and undamaged. It's when you have a problem and need to deal with their comical customer support that you start having problems. So basically it's a risk you're taking.

Well i gotta say i was impressed with Pixmanias service. I ordered a 32" HDTV last Tuesday at 4.30 pm and it arrived Friday morning, hassle free.

Like most online retailers, they show their worth when something goes wrong.

I ordered a laptop off pixmania, and was delivered a desktop, with no monitor. It was torture dealing with them trying to get it sorted out.

Eventually, I got a full refund, but I was ringing them daily(international calls at my own expense) for a period of weeks. If they responded to emails it was just auto-reply nonsense.

I'll never buy anything from them again.

I wish my problems had only lasted weeks, it took me 6 months to get a refund off them!

I ordered two external drives from them, and paid extra for express delivery 24-28hrs. 4 days later nothing, I got in touch and was told they dont even have them in stock. I checked the website again and they are still listed as in stock!
I wont ever ever use them again and I advise anyone to stay well clear.
