    Hi there

I am just putting this question out there. Is the pharma industry as bad as everything else at home at the min? Im in late twenties and I have about 4 years experience,

was on contract but that finished and Ive been working in ****ty jobs for nearly 5 months now,no dole, no sign of anything still and its nearly xmas....maybe should go home and try upskilling with a course:(

I have been applying for jobs in Ireland but no feedback really..Is there any ponit in this? or is it a case of half the country applying for one job in this industry?

Any info would be great as its hard to tell from on line recruitment sites etc:confused:

    Thanks

Whats your experience in? Unfortunately the Pharma industry is as bad any place in Ireland at the moment, however Wyeth in clondalkin tend to hire process techs on contract through CPL recruitment from time to time, Bristol Meyer squib have jobs up on their website from timetotime also and Merck Sharp and Dohme are starting to recruit for their new place in carlow,Genzyme in Waterford have a few jobs advertised also

Wyeth BioPharma has been recently taken over by Pfizer. To be honest there are looking at cost-reductions so hiring is pretty much zilch, having said that if the right calibre of candidate was available, then who knows.

    Best of Luck
