A friend has installed a new aerial system for the four Irish channels.

There is no amplifier in the antenna system.

He has very bad co channel interference caused by leakage from the UPC cable system.

Who can you complain to? Does RTE still have the reception investigation unit?

Can UPC be forced to sort it out?

How is the UPC cable system causing interference? Is your friend's antenna running close to the UPC cable, or is there a poor connection / loose shielding on some UPC split unit / cable?
