    Hi...
    For anyone who has had his done on existing house from the outsude.. Do the contractors usually try and close the holes to match the colour of plasterwork or would that be up to me?
    We have a house rented out and are considering pumping the cavity to upgrade its insulation with a view to better sale price in a few years..

    I'd like to know before I price round...

    They generally try to match it with existing (provided you have a flat plaster finish)

    they did with mine , but you can still see where the holes were drilled..

    I painted the house this year and they are not noticeable now.

    ask them when getting quotes.
