Hope this is the correct place to post this.
My job requires filling in the same standard form hundreds of times with some tweaks each time. I was wondering if its possible and also not extremley dificult to make a spread sheet in excel which i can have 6 questions, when i fill in these answers i want it to generate a table in either excel or word, preferably word with other txt and the answers to my questions in the blanks.

    Hope this makes sense???

I can eloborate if anyone cares to ask anymore questions....

    ...with some tweaks each time.

It's possible, but it's impossible to say whether it's difficult or what the best approach is without know what the tweaks are.

You'll have to give more info to get some responses. Ideally, and some sample (dummy) data.

since you want the output in WORD then it may be possible to skip past excel altogether

if you are doing one at a time have a look at FORMS

if you have a hundred to do and can put data in a table then look at MAILMERGE unless the text is long

    ok

so ill try and simplify this down if i can
so basically ill use the example of a car

my form will be along the lines of

    Inputs
    1.Is the windscreen broke Y/n?
2.is there petrol in it y/n
3.is there a scratch on the bodywork y/n
    4.is there a puncture in a tyre y/n

that would be my data input and would be handy if these could be dropdown or tick boxes something easy to use

from this i would have a table of findings

    basically a sentece saying

1.the car has a broken window
2.there is no petrol in the car
3.there is 1. no scratches on the door

    then reccomenations

    1.none
    2.fill with petrol
    3.fix scratches

    then details of works
    1. N/A
2.go to petrol station, fill with.........
    3.take car to bodywork speciallist......

obviously more detail than this but hopefully you get the picture...
