    Talking to my sister on the phone and she said Grand Parade and Oliver Plunket St were hit the worst. A good 2 feet or more submerged.

    Can't believe it - looks awful, some damage done. It's so bright and sunny outside now it's hard to imagine it rained so heavily.

    Wow when was grand parade hit? I heard it was flooded alright but I was on it at 7.15pm last night and it was fine!! Only 1 or 2 small patches of water...

    North Main Street was a river this morning too. Still is I think.

    The river by the Gate cinema looks more like white water rapids.

    Blimey, I left Ollie Plunk St at 11.30 last night, no flooding at all. Glad I didn't leave the car there now..... :eek:

    I bet Audi wish that too....brand new Audi being launched in Cork & was parked outside the Clarion Hotel last night - didn't even have number plates on it - towed into a garage this morning with flood damage & they reckon its a write off - €80k's worth.............
