Tax back- expenses

I received my tax back having done my return on the last day of October (had to hang around waiting on these clowns I worked for to declare it), but the $300 in expenses I put down have yet to arrive, and Ive received no communication about it. Do they normally arrive much later, and what kind of timeframe?

    Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean. Your expenses only reduce your tax liability. They shouldn't be treated differently to any other overpayment.

it isn't a refund of 300, as teh above poster said it is a reduction of liability
