references rendering incorrectly

I'm using dcu style and natbib in LyX In LyX it gives the option to set a reference as (Smith, 2009) It is rendering incorrectly as (Smith; 2009) There is no option for that format even... can't find a ; in the style file. edit: it only happens with that style file anyways...fairly painful trying to get the refs to render…
