...being auto's, almost assuredly ex-rental fleet (Budget/Avis etc).

Quite apart from the usual stuff, brakes/shocks etc., evidence of small knocks.....yanks tend to bump things......:)..............

Being auto has at least one big advantage: you know they didn't get a chance to wreck the clutch/drive the bollox of it.........

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Registed together they could be fleet. Confirm history and get it checked out by a decent mechanic if you're interested

....btw, ex-fleet can be a good thing. Most have fsh, so don't let that put you off.

Lots of WX reg auto focii at RightPriceCars can only mean one thing ... ex Hertz. Boland's have the Hertz franchise for Ireland, and where are they based ... Wexford.

No other fleet other than a car hire fleet would have that many automatics.

can be a very bad thing as a matter of fact, cars sometimes never get the chance to get into a service bay between rentals - more often they get a "lick and a promise" and are out the door again making money.
OP - take it from someone ex-trade and ex-rental biz, Never buy a used rental - I would'nt.:o

Deffo ex. Hertz rentals being WX reg. Head office for Ireland is in Ferrybank.
Surprised you can't see the little yellow "1" in the rear window - that's usually left on for some reason.

OP - they are truly horrible to drive, if you need an auto try to find something from VW/Skoda/Seat with the DSG box.

I brought an 06 Focus Auto back from a customer in Drogheda and it's slow and jerky. The only benefit was it looked like a Garda car so people got out of my way on the motorway.

They are indeed ex-Hertz vehicles, just checked it out now. ;)

Being auto, you dont have to worry about fat yanks burning the clutches out, BUT they are liable to have some body work done at one stage in their life. New doors, bumpers, etc. Nothing major, but look out for panels that are out of line, as some of the jobs carried out tend to be cheap.
