hello, after having much trouble with my 4 year old toshiba, i decided to get a new laptop.

Budget: dont really have a definant budget, but the cheaper the better

Intended use: college work, internet, e-mail, Word processing, games - it doesnt have to load newest games @ highest graphics

Mobility: i'll need to carry it to college, so it should be mobile

Warranty: at least a 1 yr manufacturers warranty will serve fine

What Operating System do you use? windows 7

    this sony cought my eye

Can you give examples of what games you want to run? As gaming and laptops usually means things get expensive.
