Installed sky plus box. Best way to get it activated

    Have sky plus box installed. For the pause function etc, its saying contact sky to upgarde subscription. Now I understand that there is now longer a subscription for sky plus so do I just have to ring up sky. If so, is there any quick access number or can it be done via the sky box

    you have to have a sub to activate it , min is about 20.5 euro i think.

    Sorry, to clarify,
    We have a sky subscription. Its about €30 a month. I meant that there is no longer an additional subscription for sky+. So is it just a mater of ringing them?

    Just ring Sky 0818719819.

    Have your details handy. On your Sky remote press services, system set up, system details, take down version number, serial number and viewing card number.

    Sky will pair the card and box for your Sky+ features.

    Yep done now. I just wondered really if it could have been done through the phoneline via sky box.
    Its a nightmare to get through on that number. waiting & waiting.
    Anyway all is well now.

    Yes, it can be done that way also but nine out of ten times when re-pairing a Sky+ box you'll end up having to ring Sky anyway after doing the call back to activate Sky+ features. I know sometimes there can be a bit of a wait but worth it's when you have everything running the way it should be :)
