Advice on insert stoves to buy and where?

    Hi There,

I was just wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a place to buy an insert stove and where, preferably in the munster region. I have been looking at flam and lotus inserts. For the space I have, I would not need more than 8kw, with anything between 4 and 8 doing the job fine.

My house is not fully built yet and I have left a vertical space to fit a flam 44/70, but I can still adjust this sizerelatively easily. I literally dont want to spend the 2500 plus installation on the flam fire.

Does anyone know of a much cheaper alternative for an insert fire? I looked at the boru fiachra insert and was quoted around 1k plus installation. Is this a reasonable insert?

thanks in advance for any recommendations

    Hey Dunster

I know its been a while since you posted this but I'm wondering if you went ahead and got the Fiachra. I'm looking at getting one myself and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
