The Winter league is cancelled tonight in Waterford due to excessively high winds. It will resume as normal next Thursday at 7pm.

Understandable - with all the rain that has fallen in the past 24 hours.
Pity though - was looking forward to the run....:(

Good point, well made and accepted.

I live out in the sticks, no street lights etc, running in the city with 700 other people along lit up streets has a magnetic appeal.....

Thats my story anyway and I'm sticking to it.....:D

I was kinda thinking of doing the Waterford Half Marathon, but I've hardly no training done and have a Christmas night out on the night before - so we'll see.
Are you doing it? Many expected? Elite runners or mix or elite and fun?

I was out yesterday morning and i actually think it was worse than last night,but then again...im hardcore

I will be doing the half and i expect at least 500 taking part.
def a good mix of levels taking part
