Would depend on the girl surely unless you have a GAA jersey fetish.?

I don't think it's attractive, it screams "I want a bogger in me"

Big warning sign to stay away from a girl if she wears GAA jerseys tbh. Except maybe for a big match in Croker as long as she changes before the saucing that night.

Attractive girls can get away with wearing pretty much whatever they like.

GAA jerseys however do little of benefit for the rougher looking lady.

Well a county colours night for example. Jasus im like a fox in a chicken coop!:D

Damned HAWT IMO, even some fat chic's can get away with it.

About as attractive as a girl with a hairy chest.

Actually, there's a decent chance you'd find exactly that if you got "lucky" enough to remove said gaa jersey

GAA jerseys make girls look more masculine = not attractive

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 873 ✭✭✭InKonspikuou2

Depends on the county jersey as well as the girl. I don't think i'd ride Salma Hayak if she was in a carlow jersey.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 475 ✭✭candlegrease

It's mank to be honest. They might as well be chewing on a stick of barley as well

I think its fair to say we'd all ride Salma Hayek no matter what jersey she was in

I'm sure a lot of paedos find them arousing. Otherwise no.

Disgusting. Should be illegal outside of GAA grounds.

Absolutely mank on every woman. Mindyou they don't look good on most guys too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,647 ✭✭✭✭El Weirdo

No, no, no. Rank. They're normally paired off with a pair of cheap, blue tracky bottoms too...

GAA jerseys look ridiculously cheap and tacky and most unattractive on anyone. Male or female.

Are people actually saying THIS is unattractive?

I think the point is that they don't generally wear thongs with them. Mores the pity.

Put them in a soccer jersey ,now that'd be a different story.

That's a picture of two models. It is about as far from an accurate reflection of your average GAA jersey wearing girl as it's possible to get!

yeah, but the girls on the street don't wear it like that, they wear em loose and big, but tucked into a pair of blue jeans with a bulge out the back that holds their big arses. and they also walk like they've been rode up the hershey highway the night before.

girls in rugby jerseys are hot

Rode a girl in a Cavan jersey once. No. 3, full back, fcukin rodeo bull in Chet's, outside Shreveport wasn't as active!

Had to hang onto her collar to stay "aboard"

    Don't knock it hombres.

    Dare I call Rule 34?

However, as a rather pervy friend of mine once said: "Female GAA players... they're bigger men than I."

Better than girls in LOI or English soccer shirts. *sets fire to thread*

I love my GAA jesery! I paid €57 for them in Arnotts!!! I wear it with pride everytime Dublin plays, pity we got bummy raped! :(

I don't like GAA, so I'd never wear a jersey.
I don't think women look particularly good - or feminine - in them, the cut just isn't very flattering, usually.
I like rugby jerseys on women though. I have a Munster one!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,470 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

doesn't add any extra attractiveness for me

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,330 ✭✭✭Gran Hermano

Even if I'd a bag of mickeys I wouldn't give a girl in a bogball jersey one.

The only time it's acceptable to wear sports attire is when you're actually participating in the sport.

I had the Munster Rugby, my dad wanted it for keepsakes...

I've also got 2 United Jerseys, plus a United wind breaker....

Say that on the Soccer board and they'll tell you that the LOI girls have bigger fannies and the ones in English club jersies could only fit a barstool up there.

Seriously though, a girl who smells of cheap polyester and silage, you people have no standards.

    Aww, shame!

I do support Leinster as well, but my brother plays for a Munster team, so I reckon he'd be quite disappointed if he knew I had a Leinster jersey! :o

I want a new Ireland one next, might get one for Christmas ...

    :D

    I was thinking...

    GAA - Dublin
    Rugby - Munster
    Soccer - United...

I'm a bit everywhere.. So maybe i should just get the Leinster Rugby jersey and support Leinster!
    :D

Why don't clubs have jersey nights? Would be awesome!

OMG!!!! I wouldn't be seen dead wearing a GAA jersey!!!! Like ewwwwwwwwwww they are horrible! I wouldn't mind wear a Leinster rugby jersey or something like that but there is no way I would wear a GAA jersey :eek::eek:

The last county colours night i was at was yuck, there were loads and loads and loads of people there, yet the establishment holding the event felt the need to turn up the heating system full blast(very thirsty customers were soon seen flocking to the bar). A heap of arse.
I like wearing the jersey but i don't think it flatters ones figure particulary well, with the exception of your shoulders maybe and perhaps if they are nice colours, green and red always seem to compliment most ladies.

Pretty unanimous "NO" from everyone then.:D They're a deal breaker alright, no doubt about it. Although every summer RTE show ads for their GAA coverage where they'll zoom in on 2 jersey wearing hotties in the crowd. Maybe they blue-screen them in?
This should be merged with that thread about why Irish men find Irish women unattractive. Good case for the defense:pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,062 ✭✭✭DancingQueen:)

I'd wear a Dublin jersey nearly every time they'd play, i don't wear it to look good i wear it to support them normally because i'm at the match!
You can get jerseys for girls that suit most girls or if not tie it at the back. If you want to make something stylish most times you can ;)

Haha, what are you on about? You don't think GAA jerseys look well on women yet rugby jerseys do? completely missing the fact that they are both of the 'jersey' variety. Shnobbery. Daylight Shnobbery.

I look sexy in a Leinster jersey but I don't think I would look as good in a GAA jersey, that's just the way it is!:D

Well both jerseys have their merits. I like to watch both GAA, rugby and soccer, i think stating that you simply don't like either sport simply reflects your lack of knowledge or appreciation for sport in general.

I don't even know the rules of rugby and I have never watched GAA or soccer, I just like all the sexy guys in rugby lol :D

What sense is there in being modest? If I look good why would I say otherwise? What is this implicit demand on people to belittle themselves all about? I look sexy so I am gonna say it!!! :D
