    Hi,

Ive just been quoted 2700 euro (inc vat) for 40 tube dennen bos solar panels with a 300L stainless steel tank - supply only, this will qualify for a grant of 1138 euro from the SEI.

Does this sound like a good deal (ie is this system good)?

Any idea of installation costs to meet the SEI registered installers requirement for the grant?

I hope this question is ok on the prices forum (fingers crossed).

If you dont want to comment on the quality of the kit above but have an opinion I'd really appreciate a PM.

    Thanks!

    Steve

Any chance was it from Toss Byran in Fermoy you got that offer?
Same was being offered at the self build show in Millstreet.

    Sold

    sounds good
Dose it come with piping, glycol, roof vent , roof mounting kit, expansion vessel mounting bracket and roof mounting bolts.
the cost of these items can add up.

Some 40 tube systems come with a grant of up too €1500
Fitting in Connaught is from €500-€1000.

    Hi ccsolar,

No idea I'm afraid if the stuff you listed comes with the kit, but I'll know on Monday :)

500 euro sounds like a good price for installation, if anyone knows of an installer that will do the job at this price and will travel to Offaly I'd appreciate a PM.

    Sold

You will not get it fitted for €500 if the installer has to provide the extras.
Will PM you with installer details.

    Hello,
Have also received a quote for Dennen panels.
    Are these panels good?
    Compared with kingspan?

    Thanks,
    Eddie

    Hi Murphyep
If you compare the apeture area and the annual energy yield this will tell you the performance of both makes.
It's up to you then which 1 you buy.
    Hope this helps.
