    Does anybody out there have a use for good quality bread waste? If so i have some available every tuesday from a depot in west dublin.

    Its regularly used for pig feed etc (of course it has to be pasteurised- along with any other food waste).

    Bread waste can be composted but there is a cost of approximately 70-90 Euro per tonne for this. try www.acornrecycling.com

    have an interest in getting all the waste bread that you have on a regular basis to feed cattle all year round. what's your number and I'll give you a bell.

    Be careful and get advice- its not a good staple for cattle......

    We feed our cattle and sheep with it. A neighbour uses 7 ton of it every week

    Its also not a good staple for sheep (they are both ruminants after all).
    I'm guessing you use it as a part-substitute for the high energy nuts. How do you prepare it? I know it has to go in the pasteuriser for pigs- I'm pretty sure you don't go to those lengths for cows and sheep?
