    On Highland radio a couple of days ago, Jim McDaid agreed with an irrate called when she called for the government to stand down... just thought it was interesting, thats all, so long, goodbye, slan, ciao

    yeah but they won't. like with the lisbon vote, people were saying "if it doesn't pass the government have to go". it did, but they still wouldn't have left. unless they're thrown out with a lack of confidence vote, the government aren't going to go anywhere. would you? I know i wouldn't

    I don't know I mean does anyone really think there is a political party out there who is more capable than the one we have now. I never voted for them but I don't see how an FG/L alliance for example would be better placed to steer us out of the recession.

    if this was russia the government would have been killed long ago. but not here, as long as beer doesn't get touched in the budget, everything'll be grand.
