Lively Irish towns - New Yrs Eve!

    Hey everyone,

Just looking for some suggestions!! Every year myself and a group of friends head away for New Years!
We always end up going back to either Kilarney or Dingle and would probably be happy enough to do the same this year but I would like to give everyone another option or 2! We went to Kenmare last year and didn't like it, Killkenny a few years ago, and although it wasn't for new years the pubs closed at 1:30 and was a huge dissapointment!!
    So, our requirements...
A lively town with a few pubs and ideally a club or 2!!
Within 3 hours drive of Cork City as some people are working new years eve and will need to drive after work!!

    Anyone have any ideas??

Kilkee, Co. Clare is usually hopping on NY eve. Not much hotel accomodation there though, most people rent holiday houses for a few days.

has to be DUNDALK for me, bundles of pubs and clubs to suit all types and great craic. a lot of the hotels have clubs attached that will be complimentary in if you stay, with ressie bar aftarwards too. try the tivoli on main street.
