Goal Based AI

    Doing my final year project on this and want to make a tech demo on it, anyone able to point me in the right direction of books, papers, tech demos, already been reading up a lot on Kevin Dill and The Game AI wisdom books, but they are sometimes, too brief, I want to get to grips with this in a major way, I have Game AI by example and plan to use it but it seems too context specific. Which I suppose all game AI is but I want more hands on knowledge, any suggestions are welcome

    In terms of websites, GameDev.net is one of the biggest gamedev communities out there, excellent resource;

    Another useful site for game AI and animation control;

    Google will turn up a wide variety of papers and other material on the topic. In terms of real-world goal-based game AI, I'd particularly look for material on FEAR's AI - used an unusual planning system approach, fairly unique in terms of commercial games, AFAIK.
