WRESTLER Hulk Hogan has been badly injured after a violent bloody brawl broke out at The Hulkamania promotional press conference at Star City today.

The press conference veered violently out of control today as Hulk Hogan and ring rival Ric Flair let their animosity break into a full scale bloody brawl.

Newspaper Sydney Central’s photographer Phil Rogers had his flash broken when Ric Flair threw a table off the stage and into the press gathering before diving on photographers.

Media were stunned as the Hulk’s head began bleeding profusely and confusion broke out when the veteran wrestling star was unable to get to his feet.

This reporter narrowly missed being struck with the table and photographers ducked and weaved as Ric Flair took off his trouser belt and began to whip anyone within range.

The press conference began well with the stars of the tour speaking professionally about their careers and the business.

Hulk Hogan was excited to be touring Australia for the first time.

He said promoters in the past had billed him to tour Australia without his knowledge only to tell the fans that he could not make it.

The Hulkamania tour hits Melbourne on Saturday night.

Its kinda wrong that this has gotten me more excited about wrestling for months, if anyone of the current WWE roster did this it wouldnt appear anywhere, Hogan and Flair have a worked brawl and it gets reported on the evening news, classic :)

THATS who that was! I saw him but couldn't fecking think of who he was. Which is weird as I used to really like Gangrel.

Still wouldn't go see that show though

I think the Aussies are just happy to have somebody famous in the country. The news reader is wearing a smile that says it's a far from serious news item, and doesn't believe it for a moment. I'd nearly say that it's one of those surfing dog type stories that you see on the news.

Chris Jericho seems to be lurking in the background behind the fatter Nasty Boy's sholder./may not be 100% true

Great thread. Well done everybody :) Has Hogan been released from hospital yet and more importantly has Ric Flair been charged with assault?

On the plus side, for the first time in his life he's not the fattest man in the room.

I've never seen anybody manhandle Hulk Hogan like that before.

I don't know if you're serious or not but the UFC Heavyweight champion manhandled Hogan.
Hogan, Flair, Nasty Boys and Rikishi...

Five star classics every night so!

No one will be going to see good wrestling. They'll be going just to say "I saw Hogan and Flair". Yeah, Nasty Boys and Rikishi are obviously the only friends Hogan has left!

I think I saw Beefcake on this "tour" as well.

Shame Savage isn't making an appearance as that'd sell like hot cakes.

But fair play to Hogan for putting this together. He's doing what Vince failed to do and that was have a great WrestleMania VIII main event in Hogan vs Flair. Instead we got Hogan and Sid flop around the ring like spas. Mind you, it was probably more down to Hogan that that main event didn't happen.

Who cares if it's 17years too late!
(yes I know they had many matches in WCW. Some of them were alright, I liked the "barbed wire" cage match but none of them were promoted like Vince promotes)

Anyway, I agree with flah and kurdler, this is great and looked the business! I think these kinda tours need to do stuff like this. Give us attitude that we don't get on telly. Austin and Michaels had a fake little push n shove at a "press conference" for WM XIV

Anyone remember when Scotty to Hotty threw a chair through a window on an RTE set to promote the AWR tour? The presenter made a face that was like "what the fuck? Ah ****... what do we do, quick go to a break". I totally marked out while watching my RTE 2 that night and I didn't even go to the show.

    "Hulkamania" Tour Results - 21/11/09
    Location: Melbourne, Australia
    - Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore & The Pimp Father (aka The Godfather) def. Rock of Love.

    - Matt Cross def. Shannon Moore.

    - The Nasty Boys def. Vampire Warrior & Black Pearl in a Street Fight.

    - Lacey Von Erich won a Bikini Contest.

    - Ken Anderson (Mr. Kennedy) def. Sean Morley (Val Venis).

    - Too Cool (Rikishi & Brian Christopher) def. Orlando Jordan & Eddie "Umaga" Fatu.

    - Hulk Hogan def. Ric Flair when Hogan used brass knucks along with interference from Lacey Von Erich.

Why doesn't the main event result surprise me?

Had a little look at Hogan's book in Eason's there the other, it was f*cking brilliant. The lies are just so entertaining.
