Do Freeview boxes from the North work here?

    they dont in Cork (tried it), but they probably will if you can recieve BBC etc from the north on a normal aerial....ie if you are closeish to the border.

    I think you'd have to be very close to the border. Don't you have to have a very strong terrestrial signal for those boxes to work?

    They wont work with Irish DTT.
