reclaimation of battlesites

    hi all
    i am currently undertaking a masters in environmental resourse management. i am required to write an essay on the reclaimation of battle field sites focusing on site rehab and archaeological/ historical conservation.
    would anyone have any ideas for me or would you know where to get info on this topic as i'm finding it hard to locate material on this subject.

    any help at all would be much appreciated

    Interesting. Some of the fellas over on the History forum might be able to help you on this one. I haven't been there but I believe there is an excellent one at the site of the Battle of Culloden. Here's a link to it http://www.nts.org.uk/Culloden/Home/
