Qantas Premium economy baggage allowance

Hi....a friend is flying Cork-London-Sydney-Christchurch v.v. at the weekend with the London-Sydney portion Qantas economy plus. All booked on one thru' ticket but travel agent says allowance is 1x 20kg from cork to london and 1x 23kg bag from london onwards. I know BA and Qantas codeshare on the kangaroo route but Ba.com gives Eco+ limit as 2x 23kg, Qantas.com.au as unlimited x 23kg. I think the flight they're booked on is Qantas operated though. Who to believe-uninformed travel agent (by my reckoning....) or the websites? Also as thru' ticket wouldn't highest allowance cover all potions of trip? Confused

Help please......next option is ringing Qantas customer service but that'll be expensive ;). Sorry for long convoluted post btw!

    Thanks

But it might well be less expensive than an excess baggage charge!

Surely quantas have a London office you could call?

The baggage allowance is normally stated on the eticket. If it's not there, then Qantas have a Dublin number.
