Microkorg or Microkorg XL

Hi, sorry I know how much people hate microkorgs on here but I am buying one none the less next week and just want to know if the XL is worth forking out the extra few bucks for? Can't find much on the net but what I have read is that the XL is a very different sound to original MK. So is different better?
