    Hi folks

in other areas i am seeing signs for taxi companies to he airport and town,

example lucan, 28 euro including tolll to the airport.

is there any taxi company in blanch offering similar or fixed into town prices?

or is it just hackney companies that offer this

    thanks

got a flier yesteday for mulhuddart taxis, €20 to the airport set charge and they collect for the same fee.

Also an 8 seater has no call out charge and no charge for the extra people in it.

going to the airport next wednesday so will report back after i use them.

Here's a thread that may be of interest http://irishtaxi.org/forum/index.php?topic=4400.0

Oh dear!!! I don't think our Dublin 15 taxi drivers are too fond of fixed prices or competition for that matter.

Wow it's actually frightening how aggressive and angry those taxi drivers are...they are blaming each other for the discounts...but to me it's the recession that has people looking for discounts in all areas.

Actually got 3 taxis last night in total...don't get them that often but 2 of them came across very angry

oh by the way ...since when is there 7.50e on the meter for 4 people before you pull off

Or spelling and grammar... what a painful thread.
The more competition the better for us.

It may be legal, doesn't mean it's safe to travel without one.

Child Friendly Taxi do taxi's with car seats. http://www.childfriendlytaxi.ie/

I am aware its not a requirement, i was looking for an option that may offer it.

Going to use a local taxi and he will use our spare seat and drop it back to the neighbours house.

    sorted.

    thanks for replies.
