So I was thinking about this after reading the thread on the Army and all that. Someone said that if the 300,000 spent saved 1 life it would be worth it (Or I just imagined it)

So if you were the President of the States or whatever (Or even just in terms of medical care for your family say) what is the most you'd actually spend to save a life? Hundreds/Thousands/etc?

    Depends on who's life.

If its some junkie who's never been anything but a burden to society all his/her entire life then €0.

If its someone who appreciates life then I would spend every cent I could get my hands on.

Depends on whose life I'm saving...

    Family: probably infinite amount
Really Good Friends: slightly less than above
    Friends/Mates: Not a helluva lot
    Everyone else: S.F.A.

It depends on how good their quality of life would be afterwards...if good-medium, everything for my loved ones.
