Hi all,I currently have UPC Digital. I rang UPC & have been told HD is available in Sandyford area, yet when I try to set it up online, I got an email saying not available, we'll write to you, blah blah blah. My apt block is new & has ftth (as magnet is also available). Now, when i rang UPC this morn, they said they have no idea when it will be available, if at all. Would anyone know if or when this would be available in Sandyford Ind Est? Thanks

I have heard that they start putting the fibre into the ground off Leopardstown Road (starting at the Racecourse end) in January 2010.

I am not quite sure if this is an indicator that they do Sandyford estate as well. However they are around in the Dublin 18 aerea from January on.

It's a laugh really. I've been checking various areas on their site and most places cannot receive HD. What's the point in rolling out a product when most of your customers cannot receive it??

The only area in Dublin 4 that can receive HD is Ringsend. So one of the most affluent areas in the country with the best potential for revenue generation wasn't upgraded. Smart.

techdiver if you look at the planned upgrade map for 2009 you will see a large section of D4(middle and to the right Ringsend was one of the first areas to be tackled) is to be upgraded to triple play plus HD will also be available when its completed.
