munich in December, query on taxi fares

    hi ,
    heading off to Munich in early December and had planned to use the S-Bhann to get from the airport to the hotel but Aer-lingus have changed the flight to much later ( agghh missing a whole day ) and I dont fancy lugging luggage around in the night time ,so I'amk wondering if anyone knows how much a taxi is from the airport to the city center ?.

    also any recommendations of what to see while we're there would be appreciated as well

    the flight lands at around 7pm, and trains will continue to Munich HB and Marienplatz until late in the evening, and leave around every 10 minutes.

    Taxi from airport is easily €50-60+ as it's a good bit out (over 30km AFAIR), so makes sense if you are in a group of e.g., 4 people.

    wow, so glad this post came up, myself and my boyfriend are visiting munich in late december and would peobably have hopped straight into a taxi when we arrived! thank you

    No worries. Here is e.g., the train timetable for friday week evening just so you can tell.

    I just checked the an info page, it's 6 times an hour from 6am to 10pm
