Greetings, I had a mini dish, bought in lidl, and a german digital box, the other half is german... Anyway this worked fine for Astra 19.2 and german tv, but wind kept blowing it off... Therefore I got a much sturdier 46cm dish complete with box and LNB, the problem I have is Astra 19.2 channels are coming up blank so I changed the LNB to the old one and used the old box too, but same problem, can get Astra 28.2 perfect but Astra 19.2 channels are coming up blank. With both setups i checked that signal intensity and quality were ok for 28.2 and 19.2. Can anyone help? Thanks

    Hi Ispeakthetruth,
I guess you have one LNB on the dish. Ill try to guide you, but to let you know I would generally use a 60cm dish for astra1 or 2. However your 46cm will work but you may experience picture break up in heavy rain.
First you can only pick up one satellite with your system at the moment it seems your on astra 2 at 28E. Your reciever can show that you also have a signal from astra1 at 19E but this is because both satellites use some of the same frequencies. If you have astra2 at the moment you need to higher the elevation of the dish by about 2 - 3 degrees and persuming your standing behind the dish move the dish about 10 degrees to your right until you pick up a signal. If your using your receiver to align the dish, before you start select a transponder that is not showing a signal on astra1, that way you will be more likely to select the right satellite. Hope this helps.
