Not sure if the course would suit mega high handicappers as its long and it could become a bit demoralising, especially so if the winds picks up, absolutely no cover from trees, wide open course.

Not sure what Trim’s like, but I’m sure Saturday nights cant be too bad anyway staying in the hotel you can get a drink at whatever hour so I’m sure it’ll keep the lads happy! Anyway Navan's just up the road.

cheers,my other option is Gowran/Kilkenny, Wolseley/Carlow although we stayed in Carlow the last few years

You could throw Bunclody in, to mix things up a bit. Yeah Carlow a good town to go out in, 'vague' recollections of the foundry!

I was going to suggest Bunclody too but not having played the course yet or stayed in the hotel across the road I wasn't going to be much help! Do a search for it on here - I know ShriekingSheet stayed and played there late last year...

a few of the 'single' lads in our group wouldn't entertain anything less than an average sized town for a bit of sleeze
don't know if Trim would suffice either,
