Best place to buy a good hi-fi?

    I want a good h-fi with a great sound and as loud as possible... Im willing to pay anywhere up to 300 for one. Any ideas would be great thanks

    you won't get louder and cheaper.
    Up your budget and buy two...


    See here for examples of two channel "HiFi" amps. You will need to buy a separate cd player or use your mp3 player/computer as an input though too.

    Then you will need to buy speakers.

    You could also consider second hand.

    at 300 you might be stretching it a bit for seperates.. how about a big Sony or Panasonic stereo?

    I agree.
    The NASE300HD is about the €300 mark , 80w speakers and surprisingly well sounding for a Sony Hi-Fi.
    Not a Sony HI-FI fan, never was, never going to be, but it has an 80GB internal HDD to top it off.

    +1 for the Denon M37 but i dont think it'll be loud enough for you. lovely sound from it but not really a room shaker!
