    Hey everyone

So I managed to get a Christmas temp job.I'm doing a 3 hour induction this week that will be more than likely paid.Do i notify the swo?

I won't be starting actual shifts this week..it will be within the next few weeks so i will have to cancel my rock n roll then anyways.

Has anyone any experience with cancelling your welfare payments for a month or so due to getting a temp job?Do you have to re apply all over again?

So happy I'll be working....even if it's the one time of the year most people will be off ;)

I would only notify sw the day your due to start your first day of work.
You can work up to 3 days a week and get a reduced sw payment.
If your work is temporarily for a few weeks of more than 3days a week then you will sign off but your origiinal claim will be still classified as *active* awaiting your expected return. Good luck and have a good christmas. :)
