    Hi

I'm living in an apartment that has been wired up for Sky+ but we received a letter telling us we can also get an FTA box if we don't want to get Sky.

I have got a FTA satellite receiver box from my father called Selfsat.

These are the connections we have:

What wires must I connect to be able to receive these FTA channels? Must the box be connected through the Sky connections or is it possible to just use the aerial?

It needs to be connected to one of the Sat connections.

You can buy 2 F-connectors and a length of coax in your local hardware store to make the connection.

I think the selfsat is actually a flat panel satellite dish for descrete installations.
They might do a satellite reciever aswell but I can't find any reference to it online.

    just a heads up.

    Cheers for that.

I went ahead and bought an F Connector cable today and plugged in into the Sky plug and the receiver and did the auto tune and thankfully it worked - just have to start editing away at the channels now to get what I really want.

Cheers for the help again guys, really appreciate it.
