Supporting myself through college? Grants? Loans? Anything?

I have applied to go back to college next year to a PLC college for something i have always wanted to do for a FETAC veterinary nursing course.

I have been to college in an IT, did a diploma and finished 5 years ago. I received the grant for this course. From what i understand, i am not entitled to the grant for next year. Is there anyway around this? Mature student (still at home)? Second chance student?

I am lucky in that i can do the course in a PLC college where there is a small cost of about 650euro for college expenses. Is there tuition fees regarding PLC colleges?

Im not holding my breath regarding the grant but i am going to apply anyway. I really want to do the course, and don't want money holding me back. I do have a small bit saved for the first few weeks/months of living expenses. And if i don't get work, i am thinking of a loan. Are there banks that would give students loans fairly easily?
