It was always and always will be the Lambo Countach in any colour but if push came to shove white, black or red.

I lusted after a BMW M1 (with the ///M striped paint scheme) & a Lancia Stratos from my slot car set (not sure if it was scaletric but these were the cars in it).
I also liked Magnum's Ferrari 308 GTB.
The only in the flesh cars that I liked was my (older & female) cousin's boyfriend's red Alfasud Sprint coupé, even if it had some rust on it. Also my neighbour's white Manta GTE, he was a real rally head & had two massive whip aerials on it for CB radio, when you were a young fella that looked cool but it would probably be classed as the skanger mobeil of the day. The 1980s in rural Ireland di not allow much scope for car adoration.
