Anyone having Garmin Connect problems today?

Hi all,

Just tried to upload a run on my 405CX to Garmin Connect but it won't let me, is anyone else having difficulty with uploading runs today or is it just me?!!:(

It has been working fine for me - I uploaded a run around 9:00 this morning, and was just checking a run on the Garmin Connect site a few minutes ago with no problems.

How are you trying to upload them? I find using the client-side software a lot more reliable for uploads than using the web-based interface.

Hmm, well I'm just using the ANT+ dongle thing that it came with. All million other runs that I've done previously loaded up no problem but today's run for some reason isn't going in, and when I try to upload from the list of runs it says "Failed".

When you say "Client based" as opposed to "Web Based", what exactly do you mean?

I mean, you can upload things automatically using the Garmin ANT Agent software that resides on your computer, or you can upload things manually from the Garmin Connect website. Both use the ANT+ dongle, but send the info in different ways.

You can try resetting the watch by pressing and holding the two buttons on the side for a few seconds. It will reboot the watch, but won't destroy any of your saved data. Worth a try!

Thanks for that, I tried it and it didn't work, but then tried a combination of things and it's working now so I'm sorted !

when the battery is low you can have problems with content transfere and thats from experience:)
