can i get p60 for 2006

    Hello

    Is it possible to obtain anywhere a copy of my p60 for a previous year - 2006

    the employer i worked for no longer exists

    any help appreciated

    Not really. It's the employer that issues these, so Revenue, DSFA etc would not be able to send you a new one. Contact Revenue though, they should be able to send you a letter containing the same info as held on the P60.

    Your employer would have had to make a return to Revenue call a P35, and this would have your taxable income, PAYE paid, PRSI paid, and total insurable weeks listed on there.

    What do you mean when you say your employer no longer exists? If it was a limited company which has been placed in liquidation, the liquidator will have taken over payroll (and other business) records. Similarly if you worked for someone who was self-employed who may now be bankrupt, the business records are still required to be maintained for a number of years (tax record for 2006 should certainly have been kept)

    In addition, as gerrybbad points out, the Revenue should have the relevant information.

    All this assumes that your employer did properly prepare, maintain and file the records in the first place
