My brother recently furnished his office from IKEA. He got glass desks that would look very well as a reception desk. That might be worth a look. Can't help with the partitions.

I got a lot of my furniture and equipment from offices that were closing down around me for next to nothing. I have set up two workstations, including desk and partitions for around 100 euro each! And the stuff is good quality.

This is really grapevine and balls stuff! You need to know which companies are closing down and just walk in, talk to someone and make an offer.

I got some really mad quotes when I was thinking of buying new stuff, 200 for a partition, 500 for a desk etc...

Also, you can get some really good quality refurbished PCs for 150 euro on ebay.

I don't know if you're based in Dublin or not but have you considered using "Liquidated Furniture Sales". AFAIK they are on the Jamestown Road in Finglas. Did a quick google and got www.desksandchairs.ie
