course there is, if you eat like a walrus and work out hard you will get huge.

my bulk diet is like this:
3 french toast with mape syrup
    glass of milk

    little lunch:
    banana

    big lunch:
roll stuffed with may lettuce tuna or chiken to turkey
    milk

    get home:
    tuna salad

    dinner:
whole pizza with chips, steak, anything with glass of milk

    supper: maby a protein shake

you need more veg and some fruit wouldn't go amiss either.
bulking may excuse the pizza, chips and excess bread but there is no excuse for eating lettuce as your only veg in a day.

I don't think he wants to get huge in just any sence of the word, I think he wants to build muscle ;)

If you are a complete noob to weights and the whole getting bigger thing you need a good program. Full body weights routines are what you have to do, dont do split routine stuff. Read the stickies for bulking diets, you need to have a really good diet.

Most importantly though and I've said this before, don't be goal oriented with how your body looks, this has to be a lifestyle change. Getting bigger takes what seems like forever and if you are looking for big changes in a couple of months you will probly be dishartend.

Do this - spend time putting together a good program and get an idea of how you should eat. Then start and be consistent, this is the most important thing, if you aint 100% consistent then just go home. You seem very skinny and it will probably be 3 to 6 months for first decent changes but not major and then 2 to 3 years before you have a body you really like(this is subjective though), but once you are there you are there, then you just need to maintain it and thats easy. Waffle, waffle, waffle ;)

That's not that bad a diet. Dinner is a bit messy but other than that I'd say it's quite close to my own. Let he who has not sinned, cast out yon...thing... sorry I don't remember the rest of that. Something about prostitutes wasn't it?

Anyway, I'm sure some would disagree.

you know what you are totally right i can't lecture ANYONE on anything and would not dream of doing it as everyone has to find their own way - i will just post what has worked for me and my clients.

You could do with adding some high reps with light weights in your routine.

Making a start tomorrow, hope I get results as quick as I used to, would like to drop a stone before the end of the year. If I make progress like I did a few summers back it'll be no problem.

If i weight train three times a week i can see a noticeable difference in two weeks without altering diet
