    Hi everyone.

    I was reading the last issue of Golf digest and saw a feature and advert for the magazines golf society. They have 4 outings every year with the next one in December at Killeen castle. I sent my details off and joined the society and entered the next outing and I am really looking forward to it.

    I was just wondering are any of the board members in the society and what are your thoughts and experiences.

    Was a bit interested when I seen they were playing at Killeen castle. Don’t have a link but had a look at Golf Digest in the supermarket and basically the outing costs €90 (for a round of golf in December!) but the thing is you have a be a member of the golf digest society which costs €150 (but you do get 3 free Srixon balls in that!), in all fairness you get a year supply of Golf Digest Ireland, which is a mainly full of golf course advertisements...

    Honestly I dont know whats worse €150 membership for a society or paying €90 for a society outing which is being held in December
