LNB Power, Frequency

    Hi all,

I have just received a Technomate TM-6900 HD Combo which I am about to include in my setup.

I have been reading the User's Manual and I am a bit puzzled about the following instructions in the Satellite Setup:

    LNB Power: Select LNB Power ON/Off / 13V / 18V.

LNB Freq: Select LNB oscillator frequency.

My dish is a normal non motorised 60cm minidish with a Universal Quad LNB working perfectly. I only wish to keep receiving Astra 28.2.

My problem is that I do not have a clue as to any LNB Power or Frequency. To date none of my satellite boxes have required this LNB information to operate.

Any information on this will be appreciated.

Is there not an automatic scan option? Your dish is already set-up for the satellite and with an automatic scan you should receive the channels available on Astra 2 without having to input additional data.

Yes craoltoir, there probably is an automatic scan. I have not actually connected up the receiver yet. As you say I may not have to input any further information. It's just that I have not come across this before.

    Thanks for your reply.
