Paganini Frames/bike any good?

    I've seen a few of these frames around. Just wondering if anyone has one and would you recommend them? they seem to be very popular as Winter trainer bikes.

    They are fine. As far as I know they are spurious frames with the paganini badge these days, but that doesn't mean they are bad.

    I don't like naming names, but for example Martin O'Loughlin won the vets champs in 2008 on one, plus the Corkman 3 day, several combined races, 2 stages of the Suir Valley International against top competition, several "A" races and lots more besides. As well as 2 weeks in the alps coaching Roche and Deignan for the Olympics whilst riding the paganini with them.

    I reckon you'll be alright. One of the lads here has a shop which sells them in Finglas I think. Acoustic maybe ?

    It's very hard to find info on them on the net because they are rebranded frames from generic manufacturers. THIS IS NOT NECESSARILY A BAD THING! At least one of their models is a rebadged pedalforce, I'm sure it would be possible to identify the Paganini's other incarnations if you know which model you're after.

    I have a 54cm carbon f&f for sale since sept. Sellers spiel aside, I couldn't fault it. The only reason I changed was cos I bought a new Kebel f&f. Here's the link.

    Thanks for the replies. The reason I posted was that I've ordered one from Humphries. Was just curious really as although I think there fine, just wondered what others thought of them.

    There almost becoming a "must have" if your a member of SwordsCC! Everyone seems to have them :D

    I've ordered a compact frame ( any colour you like as long as its silver!). It'll come complete with mudguards as I intend using it as a winter/commuting bike. Looking forward to trying it out. God bless the bike to work scheme! :D

    I got a secondhand Carbon Paganini in March and it has been very good. Light and stiff enough for me anyway. Probably paid a bit too much for it though. In hindsight I would have got a new Planet X for similar money.
