    Hi

So I was just wondering has anyone tried this out in Dublin, I know they do it in the states and the UK so I've brought back my empties there but never checked about over.
For those of you who haven't got a clue what I'm on about the back to MAC project is where you bring back 6 empty MAC products(foundation bottle, lipgloss, eyeshadow ect...) in exchange for an eyeshadow/gloss/lipstick- well thats what it is in the states.
I have a couple of emptys here and was going to bring them back tomorrow but wanted to know if anyone had tried it over here? Also if you have did you bring back eyeshadow pots? And did they have to have the pan in it?

Hopefully one of you lovely ladies can enlighten me! :D

Hmm I know they do it in the UK stores - i've done it in the MAC branch in Harvey Nic's in Edinburgh, but they've never mentioned it to me in MAC in Dublin so I am guessing no.

They do it in BT's Galway! And if they do it here, they'll do it anywhere!

Yeah they do it in Grafton Street. Not sure about the others. And they don't do it in Dublin Airport.

Just thought i'd update on this.....went into Grafton St yesterday to do my back to mac! They took they depotted eyeshadows no problem, she barely even looked at what was in the bag!!! And I recieved a lovely lipstick! :D For the Bakc to Mac can you only recieve lipstick? I had heard that sometimes they give you lipgloss/eyeshadow??

My next question to you guys is, can you get the MAC pro blush palette's (empty) in the Grafton St store? I asked yesterday but the girl didn't even know what I was on about!!!!!! If you can't get them in Grafton is the closes't place London? And if so where abouts??

I never knew that, so you just bring in 6 of your empties and you get a freebie? I must have dumped a dozen bottles\packs when I moved apartments last year :o

In BT Grafton St, they said it's only lipstick, however when I asked in Macy's in NY, they could only give me lipstick, but said if I went to a Pro store I could choose from an eyeshadow or a lipgloss as well.

I got a 4 colour eyeshadow pallete in Grafton St, so not sure about blush, but they are quite cheap on the MAC website if you have any friends or relatives in the States that could order for you!

Or for the blush pallete, try the Pro store in London, there's one beside Carnabry St (can't spell) I think! You could try calling them with a credit card and they might post it to you?

Good Idea, I might try get my sister in law to pink on up 4 me in London!! If not I will try the credit card option!

In my lifetime of using MAC products I probably could have had a lovely collection of 1000 lipsticks! But sure better late than never!! ;)
