Need advice on replacing Comag SL55 with multiroom setup

    Hi all.

Our FTA sat box (Comag SL55) appears to have a fault which causes it to reset constantly without showing a picture and then shows a --- Load A --- message. After about 15 minutes of switching on or off it becomes usable but from what I've read online it seems to have the faulty capacitor issue which means the box probably needs to be replaced.

In any case, I've been looking at the possibilities for creating a multi-room setup which will allow us to:
    • Watch different channels on different screens (two or more receivers I guess...)
    • DVR Capability which allows us to record programs on at least one channel when watching a second one.
    • Allows us to watch FTA HD channels if available
    • Will work with any FTA channels.
    • [OPTIONAL]Allows us in future the to hook up a Sky Box/Card reader if we later wanted to get Sky Sports or something similar.

The room setup itself would be as follows:
    • HD Box with DVR in the Living Room, perhaps the HUMAX Foxsat PVR
    • HD satellite card for a new media PC to be built running Windows 7 (and which has DVR software) for my own room.
    • Option to add another receiver if possible.

Advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
