This morning on my way to school I witnessed something that has disturbed me for the rest of the day.
I woman who is know in the town to be a woman of questionable morals was beating her child while she walked him to school.
Now note I didn't say spanking or disciplining the woman had the child by the collar of his school shirt with one hand and was physically beating him with the palm of her other hand while shouting slur's at him such as "Stop crying" and "If you show me up again I'll kill you.". The child is about eight years old and no match for her brute strength
As I've said before this woman is known in the town for treating her son like sh1t so I'm sure the Garda know of her. Nevertheless I don't want her to get away with this do I plan to make an anonymous garda report tomorrow morning.

I was wondering under what breach of legislation will this likely fall under and will the Guarda even take me seriously without evidence and only one other witness.
